Overview

Western Sky Airpark Development, LLC (“Western Sky Airpark,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) proudly serves as both the community developer and the licensed operator of the private water system for the Western Sky Airpark community in Salome, Arizona.

In fulfilling those roles, we collect limited resident, property, and aircraft-related information to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Airpark, and to plan responsibly for its long-term success.

This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and how we protect it.

Purpose of Data Collection

Western Sky Airpark Development collects information from residents and property owners to:

  • Maintain accurate billing and service records for the Airpark’s private water system.
  • Meet Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) reporting and testing obligations.
  • Provide timely system maintenance, testing, and safety updates to residents.
  • Keep emergency contact information for use in urgent situations.
  • Understand each resident’s current and future usage (e.g., primary, seasonal, or vacation home).
  • Collect aircraft data (type, hangar or tie-down location, operational frequency, etc.) to guide runway improvements, hangar planning, and infrastructure development.
  • Support data-driven decisions for the continued growth, safety, and enjoyment of the Airpark community.

This information allows Western Sky Airpark to maintain reliable utilities and design future projects that reflect the needs of the residents and aviators who live and fly here.

Water System Operations

Western Sky Airpark Development owns and operates the community’s private water system. All water-related fees are used exclusively for:

  • Operation and maintenance of water infrastructure
  • System testing and ADEQ compliance
  • Repairs, improvements, and long-term reliability

Monthly water-quality testing results are posted publicly on the Western Sky Airpark website to ensure transparency and accountability.

Resident and aircraft data may be used only for the following authorized purposes:

  • Water-service billing, testing, and maintenance notifications
  • Emergency alerts and operational communications
  • Long-term airpark and infrastructure planning

We will never use your information for marketing or solicitation purposes without your express consent.

Privacy & Data Protection Commitment

  • No sale or commercial sharing: We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose personal, property, or aircraft information to third parties for any marketing or commercial purposes.
  • Limited access: Data is accessible only to authorized management and administrative personnel directly responsible for Airpark operations, community communication, or future planning.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Western Sky Airpark operates its private water system in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations, including ADEQ requirements for small water systems.

As both the developer and utility operator, Western Sky Airpark maintains separate accounting and recordkeeping for water operations. This ensures transparency, prevents commingling of funds, and demonstrates compliance with regulatory standards.

Nothing in this disclosure shall be construed as establishing Western Sky Airpark Development as a public utility; service is provided solely to properties within the Airpark community.

Limitation of Liability

While Western Sky Airpark Development takes all reasonable precautions to safeguard resident information and maintain the reliability of water service, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hardware failure, or unforeseen events will never occur.

By submitting information through the Resident Information Form or using Western Sky Airpark’s online systems, residents acknowledge and accept these reasonable risks.

Western Sky Airpark Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or disclosure of information consistent with this policy, or from temporary interruptions in service caused by circumstances beyond our control.
